I'm Mary, living in The Netherlands. I started horse hair hitching & braiding about 20 yrs ago and leather art about 13 years ago.

I have 1 horse and too many hobbies. Therefore I mostly take up not too big projects, so I can get them finished.

I'm not very skilled but keep on trying. I made a pair of big saddle-bags (too big for me, so gave it to friends) and I made a horn-bag with wolf pattern (gave away also). The biggest problem I find is that people (at least over here) do like handmade stuff, but are not willing to pay for it. Nevertheless, the most important thing is I still like to do it as a hobby and when I can make someone happy by giving it away, that is OK too.
