Hi King's X, Happy New Year to you as well. It doesn't come to a sharp point in the front, but it is lower in the front with a gentle curving contour and it buckles in the front. I saw it in an old Tandy catalog that someone is selling on ebay, hopefullly this link will work.. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Tandy-Leather-catalogs-lot-Patterns-for-tooling_W0QQitemZ400083349498QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5d26d36ffa Thanks.

Hi, Does anyone have an old Tandy pattern for a ladies contour belt called "The Empress". I think it dates from the late 50's or early 60's thanks. Lezli

Hi Darc, Your stitching is beautiful. Where can one find a Bob Douglas awl? Shehog How does one go about modifying an ice pick to an awl? Thanks. Shehog

Barra, Thanks for the info., much appreciated. Shehog

Lippy, What a beautiful collection, thanks for posting the pics. How is the pressure applied to the work on that style of clamp? Shehog

Does anyone have a photo they can post of what their stitching or lacing clamps look like? Do you use them while seated or standing? I want to fabricate one but am not sure if I want one that I can use while sitting or one I can attatch to my bench ala CitizenKate. Capgun Kid posted some instructions on how to make one but I was wondering if anyone had any clear photos. Thanks in advance. Shehog

Capgun, Thank you so much for taking the time to share all of this excellent information. I hope the elves can make me a stitching clamp by Christmas, it is at the top of my list! Merry Christmas. Shehog
