@pierre2171 I split this out into it's own topic so maybe we can get you some help. It looks like an interesting machine. EDIT: In fact, a search for 133k13 turned up a few hits. I'll leave you to sort through them. https://leatherworker.net/forum/search/?&q=133k13&search_and_or=or

Great machine the 133k13, in good condition better than any modern version, works a treat.

Leather craft forum Hi everyone, long time reader, first time poster. I’m restoring a singer 133k13 and I am looking for some parts, particularly the tensioning assemblies and the face plate for the machine. I’ve got the part numbers from the manual but that’s about it. I have a few questions for those of you that know these machine better than myself. 1. Is there a model of singer such as the 132k6 that shares the same shaped faceplate or any other components for that matter? 2. Does anyone on this forum have a goldmine of singer parts for this machine or know someone that might, I’m based in Australia and like this one without knocking on farmhouse doors I’m not sure where to look.

Hi Everyone Desperate for some urgent advice please. I'm commonly sewing 2 (sometimes 3 layers) of vegan leather together (2 layers of 3.5) and need to know which of these babies people would advise up to the job. At the moment I've the option of a 45k89 cylinder arm or a 133k13 long arm cylinder and just don't know which to go for. Would really appreciate some advice before I spend money. Thanks - Alex

G'Day , As my heading suggests, I have been offered a Singer 133k13 machine ( head only) ,but before I accept it ( if I accept it ) , I went looking for some info on the net, without much luck, as I know nothing about this type of machine. It is quite an old looking machine, and what have already learnt ( from observation) is that its a manual material feed machine (as in, no feed dogs to push the material through). It was turning quite tightly, but after a good clean and oil up it now turns sweetly. Also , theres no foot lifter/lever, it seem to do that as it turns , the foot is round. ( what a strange machine ...???) At this point , I have no use for such a machine, but maybe some more info would be helpful, and indeed a link to a free manual download. I have attached a file photo of a 133k13. Thanks HS

Singer 133k - Need some parts and answers
Constabulary replied to threadfish's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
The 133K13 is a darning machine and not a sewing machine meaning it has no feed dog and most likely other components are lacking too. I guess the entire feed dog frame and feed drive mechanism is lacking on darning machines. To be honest if you don´t want to use it as a darning machine better take it apart, sell the parts an look for a better option. If you still want to give it a try I´d check with LW member SINGERMANIA - he is from QLD and is dealing with all sorts of vintage heavy leather machinery. But I have not seen him here for 1.5 years or so. My 2 cents. -

I know this is an old post but I stumbled across it and thought it all looked pretty similar to a 205-64 Adler I had as it seems to be a needle feed machine rather than the a 441 style with walking foot. Coincidentally I wanted to fiddle with the foot a little to get it to be able to sew closer to edges. As you can see the Adler foot was not chicken feed. You'll laugh but I found one of my 133K13 darning feet fitted the bar perfectly and I was able to grind and polish it to make a nice foot with one toe very short and almost missing.. I am in Australia but in desperation prior to my 133k13 foot find I ended up conversing with a Barb Hershberger at Weaver who sent me the following: Item Number Quantity Ordered UOM Description Unit Price Extended Price 205-20-008-0 1 EA PLATE HOLSTER 65 65 105-22-003-3 1 EA FOOT ADLER 158.54 158.54 N-800-005-107 1 EA GUIDE COMPLETE ROLLER 159.5 159.5 65-3062 1 EA WORK PLATE W/GUIDE ATTACH. 180.95 180.95 -
Singer Leather Sewing Machines
Singermania replied to Trevor Baret's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
Most Singer manuals can be had if you look long enough or ask the right people, having said that I'm not sure I've come across any of the Singer 133k darner manuals.....the 132K6 yes, 133K8, 17 cylinder arm.yes.... but not the 133K13 etc darners....- 53 replies

You wrote 133K13 - and this is a darning machine. Post some pictures if you are unsure.

W/o having seen the machines and not knowing how they are set up I´d choose the 45K89. It has a reverse and some 45K accessories like feet and so are available. The 133K13 is NOT a leather sewing machine - this is a darning machine - It has no feeding mechanism!!!! The 45K89 has a jump foot system (if it has not been modified over the years) so if you have the chance to post some pictures please do.

Singer 133K - Information Wanted
Darren Brosowski replied to Constabulary's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
I've only had a couple of 133k machines. The first was a 133k13 darner and currently on the workbench is a 133k12 which is also a darner but uses a simple mechanism on top of the needle bar to lift the presser foot. -
Oh - stop - I just noticed that you have option for a 133K13! The 133K13 is not really a leather sewing machine it is a sack darning / repair machine which has not feed at all. The one Harry Rogers uses is a 133K8 (as far as I know). Both mentioned machines are not suitable for heavier leather work.

Thankyou Bob, very helpful. My other option is a Singer 133K13 but it's hundreds of miles from me - this guy seems to like his though...

133K8 Is Being A Pain In The Derriere. Help
Anne Bonnys Locker replied to kikilamour's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
The 133 class is just the cylinder bed version of the 132. Unfortunately I cannot check the feed dog screws as I only have a 133k13 plonker here now but Bob Kovar at Toledo will have the right screws.
