Hi, I am thinking of attaching a non-movable binder attachment to my Pfaff 335. The reason is to make it easier to switch between sewing "normally" versus sewing binding. Would it be possible to attach a binder (e.g. KHF2) directly to the KB69 Bracket Part (https://www.khsew.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2227&search=bracket+part)? The KB69 (12mm) can be attached to the arm of Pfaff 335. Are there any big dis-advantages of choosing a non-movable binder for the Pfaff 335 (if it is at all feasable) instead of a moving one? /Uwe K

Hi All. Looking into getting a Juki 1341 clone (Global WF 1575) for binding. Was looking on KHSew and they have a "Swing Away Binding Bracket" 1st image & "Moving Arm" 2nd image. Do I have to have the "Moving Arm" in order for it to work as a syncronised binder? Or will the "Binding Bracket" also be syncronised? Thanks

Hi. I just bought a Zoje cylinder arm binding machine. It was used and the company only had a 1” custom binder they could find for me. I need a 3/4” to sew leather binding on my leather bags. I didn’t go with a custom attachment from atl attachment because for their quote...I could buy a used synchronized binder..which I did. I’m hoping to order one from China when they are back to normal..but I’m the meantime, I thought I’d see if someone on here has one they could sell me. I need a right angle one I think.

I have been asked lately to repair Hockey equipment . The final step quite often is edge binding. I have a Binder mounted on Adler 267/373 table top machine and it works very well for product you can fit into the sewing area. When I do large Goalie pads , Blocker Mitts and Catcher Mitts, unless I completely disassemble them I am unable to get them near the Binder. I am shopping for a Cylinder arm machine with a binder. Is there anybody here that would have a suggestion where to start? I have an Artisan 4000 (large frame chinese copy of a Juki 441 ) could a binder be applied to the Artisan?

I am looking for a binder attachment head for a cylinder bed machine for around $50-$100. I want a step above the ebay binders, but I can't justify a $400 custom binder. Any leads would be very helpful, thanks.

Hi Everybody! Here is my first binder I've ever done. I like it a lot, though as always there are things that could be done better. For example one section of my stitching wandered a bit, but through the power of censorship I didn't include that in my photos . It is made of two layers of some sort of calf skin. It isn't veg-tan, and it's not an oiled hide... well it kind of is.. I am not sure it feels like it's somewhere in between. Maybe stone oiled? The guy at Tandy didn't give me too clear of an answer, at least not one that stuck in my head hahaha. This is my first rolled edge project as well and it was definitely a learning experience... I got a little too liberal with the contact cement in a couple spots. Any and all comments or critiques are welcome. Yes, I know I'm not supposed to ask for critique here but I didn't want to do two separate posts and I really do feel like showing this one off. Let me know what you think! ..... wait... is it called turning the edge or a rolled edge?

Hello! I am seriously considering selling my flat bed walking foot Juki and getting a cylinder arm instead. I want to do simple binding on my canvas and leather bags, but it is near impossible to find a heavy duty binder for this machine. Is there a cylinder arm binder attachment? I usually work with 15-18oz cotton canvas and max 5-6oz veg tan hides. The mouth of the binder would have to be pretty wide. Any cylinder arm users can give me advice? Thanks!

Hi all, I've recently picked up a Pfaff 335 which features a synchronised binder - I have a 14mm shell, but I'm after a 19mm or 20mm shell for this machine, but I can't seem to find one anywhere. Is anyone experienced with these machines, or know of any stores which sell a range of shells for them? Cheers, -M

Hey everyone Im having "artist block" if that's a thing haha. I am in the U.S. Navy and I'm leaving for basic training in January. Before I go I want to tool a journal to take with me to my A-school. I'm thinking of doing a small 3 ring binder set up with the hardware attached to the spine. I chose this set up so that it can be multipurpose (journal, workout log, day planner...) I know I would like to incorporate the anchor but I'm not sure where to go from there. I thought about a Sheridan style but I think I want this a little more origional, but at the same time I want the "D@MN" factor! Any ideas would be much appreciated! Thank you and HOOYAH!

Wedding album I just finished as a gift for my cousin getting married in 2 weeks time. It's made in 3 pieces with each cover being outer layer of 8-9oz veg tanned, layer of stiffener then lined with 3-4oz. The spline is also made from 8-9oz and lined with 2oz glazed pigskin. Finished in Saddle Tan antique and then the edges were done in the Mexican round braid. Special thanks to Chief for his youtube video on doing the corners and splicing in new lace. The images on the front were "borrowed" images from a google search (I have 0 artistic ability when it comes to drawing)

Here is the lastest creation. Initially started out wanting to make this a post bound portfolio then changed my mind half way through and ended up with a three ring binder style. This was one of those projects I just kept adding more too every time I picked it up.
