Members GatoGordo Posted May 2, 2022 Members Report Posted May 2, 2022 I want to make a handle like the one in the picture, but I am not quite sure how to do it. My guess is that there is some kind of core (wood or 3d printed). The leather is then cut into something resembling an O, folded over the core, and stitched. Does anyone have details regarding how to make this handle or a link to a video? Quote
Members TomE Posted May 2, 2022 Members Report Posted May 2, 2022 Stohlman's "The Art of Making Leather Cases" volume 2 covers several variations of this style handle (and many others). Quote

Members Handstitched Posted May 2, 2022 Members Report Posted May 2, 2022 Just did one of those, but it was a metal inside and I covered it in Kangaroo hide. And yes, Al Stohlman vol 2 is recommended . HS Quote
