Members pgraca97 Posted August 1, 2022 Members Report Posted August 1, 2022 I am a big fan of this spanish leather artist and recently i was going through some of his older workd and came across this: Any idea how did he do this kind of "imprint"/"impression" on the leather? thank you so much! Work is by José Luis Bazán Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted August 1, 2022 Contributing Member Report Posted August 1, 2022 I would think that is a water-slide decal/transfer Quote
CFM tsunkasapa Posted August 1, 2022 CFM Report Posted August 1, 2022 I think fredk nailed it. Seal the leather WELL, apply the decal, seal over it. Quote
Contributing Member Ferg Posted August 1, 2022 Contributing Member Report Posted August 1, 2022 (edited) I used to do sublimation which I accomplished on white dear leather. I have posted a photo of same before. Also used a Laser Printer Mono color to make whatever image/text I wanted. You can print on the better quality of laser copy paper lay it on your leather or whatever you wish to use. With a household iron you can actually transfer the image to the substrate. No messing with all the other "stuff." Ferg Edited August 1, 2022 by Ferg Quote
