Hello All,

I’m new to the site and hoped some of you might help me put values to the machines I have.  

I took some pictures but they are too big (3mb) to add to the message.  Any advice on reducing picture size?  Thanks in advance for your help and consideration.

You can go to a site called  Imgur, I've used it for years. you can download pictures from your device to there, then copy-paste them here.

If you have photos on android phone, you can resize there. Open image, press on pencil (edit), the press three dots on right to get anothe menu. Select resize image.

Thank you all for your suggestions on resizing pictures.  Unfortunately I’m technologically challenged and cannot seem to make any of the programs Ive downloaded work/start, etc,  

I can send pictures thru text or email if anyone would like to see them.

I am on an IPad and apple phone….  This seems to want the android info maybe?

@Parrytack  See this link for several suggestions and helps to reduce your photo sizes.  You should be able to set the photo size in your iPhone or iPad if you go into the settings for the camera.

I’m not sure of the value, but I did find a copy of the original Owner’s Manual  A little more description would help, like does it work?  Do you use it for leather? Etc.

You need to post a commentary about each machine and picture.  All I got was up to the 144 as to pics

I use these machines to make tack using Biothane and Beta.  

All machines work.

 The 144 is sweet. Don’t know much about it tho being an SV. I have the 145w204 and love it. I got an exceptionally good deal on mine. I’d say 2000$ on the 144 for the simple fact it would definitely pay for itself in the right hands.

Once you settle on a price, you can place an ad for this machine in our Marketplace, under Machinery > Sewing > Used. Be sure to include the price,  location and whether you will ship it or if it is for pickup only.

This old Consew 226 is a clone of the Singer 111w156, which had a push down reverse lever. I see machines set up like this selling for $500 to $800 in my State. The speed reducer may add value to it for a leathercrafter who sews slowly, but not an upholsterer for whom time is money.

At the risk of sounding overbearing here . . . may I make a suggestion?  

See if there is an adult's computer class in your local area . . . trade schools . . . churches . . . high schools . . . some "senior" organizations.

They will do more for you in two weeks about learning to use a computer . . . than talking on here will do in a year.  They can actually "show" you how to do it . . . comment on your technique . . . and give you pointers that we cannot see.

I was bumbling and fumbling all over the place before I took a 8 or 10 week "adult" course some 20 years ago . . . the best effort I ever made on computer work . . . and my company paid for it.  It was like 2 or 3 nights a week . . . and was an absolute ball . . . to say nothing of the learning I did.

As far as pictures go . . . the easiest is to stay away from those places where you store your pictures on their servers and so forth.  . . . also about half if not more of them charge you to handle your pictures . . . this does it under YOUR control . . . at zero cost to you.   You need to do only three things

1.  Store all your pictures on your personal computer . . . make files for them :  family . . . leather work . . . shopping . . . cooking . . . etc.  so it is easy for you to find the one you want.

2.  Download Adobe Photoshop 2.0 . . . you don't need any more advanced than that . . . it'll fix your pictures super for yourself or for posting here.  You can usually find it for a free download.

3.  Go down to the choose files . . .   icon at the bottom of this page . . . pick the picture you want . . . like I just did (took 20 seconds) . . . and when you close out the entry . . . the picture will post.

Hello Parry tack. I have a Singer 144Wsv35 that as a pedal reverse on it. 

Here in Canada, a good condition long arm machine sells for more than $7000..

Yes 7K.  At a Dealer. On Facebook (Market place for around $5000 without the front wheel like yours. 

I paid mine more in Shipping than the price of the machine because it was in bad condition, and the owner didn't know that it had a reverse on it because their was'nt any pedal. 

So in U. S. I would try to sell for $4000 and minimum $3000 if it as a reverse mechanism on it.
