Contributing Member fredk Posted August 27, 2022 Contributing Member Report Posted August 27, 2022 Oh, I'll add, with some leathers I punch out 6mm discs for bases for game pieces. As each game needs 40 pieces, and not every disc is perfect I go through a lot of them. I also punch out my 'maker's mark' as an oval to glue into or onto items I cannot really put the stamping directly on Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Members Hags Posted August 27, 2022 Author Members Report Posted August 27, 2022 I also use small pieces to imprint our makers mark. On thinner leather, my wife uses them for tags on the bags she makes. She puts a sticker on the back of them with a price on it. Others, we rivet them on as a makers mark. Quote Not so retired RN. Members HandyDave Posted August 28, 2022 Members Report Posted August 28, 2022 I try use every piece i can for whatever i can. And when i get a good bag or box of pieces that are to small for my projects i give them to my littlest sister who makes earrings and barrets, braclets and such. The earrings is a pretty good way to use even the smallest of scrap pieces. Quote
