Members Mulesaw Posted September 4, 2022 Members Report Posted September 4, 2022 Looking really good Thanks for taking the time to post clear pictures like this to show the progress and in what sequence the tooling is done. I alwyas get too carried away, so even with my best intentions, I rarely manage to take other than a start and a finsihed picture. I am anxious to se what the yokes will look like completed. Hope you manage to find out how to upload the remaining pictures. Quote

You need to reduce file sizes. 1280 x 768 pixels or there abouts is adequate for photos as the screen resolution on most computers is typically less than 100 dpi. See this post for helps and suggestions. Quote

Maybe something on your end with your browser or your ISP? Sorry I can't test as there is no limit on the size of moderators' uploads. If you have more to post and can't get through, message me and I'll give you an address to email them to, and I will post them for you with your comments. Quote

Members Mulesaw Posted December 6, 2024 Members Report Posted December 6, 2024 @FrenchMich A bit late, but the yokes and chaps look absolutely gorgeous. Attaching the back belt with those "conchos" really look good. Not that I am opposed to attaching them with braiding, but it just looks so elegant with the silver buttons. There is a potential western chap build in my future to a friend of my oldest son, so I am tempted in trying to do just a little bit of carving thanks to your excellent tutorial. Thanks for taking the time to take the pictures and explain the process. Brgds Jonas Quote

I dunno if there's a daily limit or something on top of size. Either way, come back the next day and continue on. Quote
Members DoubleKCustomLeathercraft Posted December 30, 2024 Members Report Posted December 30, 2024 That turned out beautiful. This style of carving is always a struggle for me. I hope to be there someday Quote
