Members Tugadude Posted September 8, 2022 Members Report Posted September 8, 2022 Use it as an accent inlay, not an entire article. For example: (taken at random from the web) Quote
CFM Frodo Posted September 8, 2022 Author CFM Report Posted September 8, 2022 Agree I think an inlay would be the way to go Fred,? you are trying to get me in trouble lol Quote
Members Mulesaw Posted September 8, 2022 Members Report Posted September 8, 2022 A set of suspenders would look great I think To me it looks kind of like the Y shape on a military basis carry system (probably another name in America). Quote

Members Handstitched Posted September 9, 2022 Members Report Posted September 9, 2022 .... and this and that An inlaid wallet perhaps ? or maybe a mobile phone case with inlay? HS Quote
Doc Reaper Posted September 9, 2022 Report Posted September 9, 2022 (edited) I have been with “Leather Worker”for quite some time now. How is it some of y’all get the oddest hard to find, rare to hear of skins???? And what kind of mind turns a turtle or a stingray hide into a useful article?? I’m out here barely able to think of the choirs that need to be done and some of ya are getting snapper skins or roo hides, I just gotta asks how does one find these? that turtle hide would make a great inlay for a holster or a sheath, but don’t use it as an article of clothing (belt buckle or wrist band). Because of its uniqueness make it an item that will last about a century or more Edited September 9, 2022 by Doc Reaper Quote

Australia ?? Cane Toad skins make good stuff too .No shortage of skins, we only have about 1.3 billion + of the damn things. The texture of the snapper skin reminds me of them . HS Quote
