It's don gonzales and Aaron heiser challenge. They have the basic and advanced wallet competition. Entries have to be at the show by 20 August I believe.

Nice interpretation of the wallet. 

It sounds interesting, Gini and I talked about it. Love that they can be donated to benefit the Veterans. May be a little to late to join.

Ok saw this post and checked it out and took 2 days in my spare time to put one together.  I don't do much sheridan carving style so be gentle.  I mailed it.off to makers leathwr supply.for the heck of it.

kudos with the creativity!  For not tooling too much, you took on the advanced pattern quite well!

Great work, I like the lacing and the carving is great work. I missed the deadline unfortunately. I would have had it mailed off by the 5th from alaska in order to make it in time.

Thanks kindnwords.  I thought yours looked great.  Hope.u finished it!  Bummer u didn't make it in time.  It was fun.  Glad u posted I never would have seen it otherwise.

Howdy, new here but thought I'd share a few pics of my work.

 

Here are a couple of pics of my entry. Herman Oak 6/7 oz body, Veg-Tan Kangaroo interior, 2-tone English Bridle & Black dye work. Has anyone seen anything about the results of the contest yet?
