Simple Briefcase

That mill scene looks mighty good. Very nice work.l Love those trees and the wood and stones in the mill. Thumbs-up! Again, the balance of the whole piece is outstanding.

Thank you

The sides are finished. Due to size only posting 1 photo of the inside, both are the same.346239145_BridgeSideFrontCompleteweb.thumb.jpg.6085d94f374168c768285bfc91a7f5de.jpg

You can reduce your file size down to 800 or even 1024 pixels per inch on the longest dimension.  That is plenty good resolution considering people using smart phone, tablets, and computer monitors that don't have the resolution to display high res photos.  It helps people on the fringes of the internet that have low download speeds.  High res photos take a long time to download if you are in a fringe area.

Your work is great!! Love it.

 @WalterF

First, your tooling is great, way better than mine!  My question is about the water wheel.  Isn't the water supposed to run into the top of the wheel to make it turn?  It doesn't look like there is any place for the water to run from up high.  I'm really not trying to be pedantic.

I'm not Walter but the answer is ... it's an undershot wheel.

OK, thanks. I stand corrected. I haven't seen one of those but it makes sense.  Sorry, Walter.

Outstanding! Nice job.

I like both equally but do you have a favorite side?

Thank you. The Mill because it challenged my skills and learned more.

Thank you, good question AIZilla mentioned undershot wheel. Possible but the wheel design for the water pockets is angle for a top fill. The trough coming from the right is possible. Yet doesn't fit with the water flow. Could be artistic error I have photographed many mills in the South East.409183888_324527360414979_634578080106464779_n.thumb.jpg.9a5ab3a95525cd261622952c3fc1bb0d.jpg
