This went past my abilities, It's for a G/niece that's 14 years old.

You all that do these sure urn your money,

The purse has dome supports on bottom and a lined stiffener for the inside bottom.

I know that there is a lot of mistakes. Thats my trade mark.

Yep, the wimmin start early, being fussy about their purses. Strap length has bitten me a couple of times.  Looks like you did the smart thing and made the strap a clip on separate piece.

Looks like the butterflys took a lot of work.

I've made a few quick little purses from the bottoms of old jeans. The cuff becomes the top and then the imagination can be your guide. I usually line them, use the back pockets in some way and make either a denim or leather strap. A mystery braid strap gives you a chance to put your leatherworker spin on them.  My lack of creative eye means mine end up fairly utilitarian. Sewing can be a challenge sometimes, depending on what you run into for thick seams. Luckily I have a couple of big sewing machines.

Yes, they start early. YouTube was the way to go for shorting the strap. No machines all by hand

and most was a two-thread stitch, main saddle with a second thread weaved between loops.

Holsters=baseballs are easy compared to purses,.

The next small kin better smile real good for me to do another
