Members bladegrinder Posted March 31, 2024 Author Members Report Posted March 31, 2024 The PID I got was around $35 I believe off Amazon, it worked so well on that little oven I bought another for my smoker. The toaster oven got a blanket of Kao wool packed in between the oven and the outer shell that I had around my shop Quote

I'm pretty sure I had at least twice that in the one I made. Here's George wiring up a 240V unit. He also has a 120V video: Edited March 31, 2024 by AlZilla Quote
Members bladegrinder Posted March 31, 2024 Author Members Report Posted March 31, 2024 Yea the one I got came with the PID and a solid state 40 amp relay, works great on my electric smoker too, that thing had some pretty big swings in temperature too. Quote
Members WendlingKnives Posted April 1, 2024 Members Report Posted April 1, 2024 Sure you can. Google Auber PID controllers. Plenty of good ones under $50 Quote
