Members AlainaZ Posted May 9, 2024 Members Report Posted May 9, 2024 Can anyone recommend a heavy-duty snap? I just bought some snaps from Buckleguy but they aren't anywhere near strong enough and I don't want to have to keep buying samples. This is for a body harness (as well as motorcycle gear) and will take a moderate amount of stress. Thanks in advance! Quote
Members DieselTech Posted May 9, 2024 Members Report Posted May 9, 2024 (edited) Look up heavy duty D.O.T snaps. Lol I think that's right. They are fairly high priced. Edited May 9, 2024 by DieselTech Quote

With some snaps hitting the center piece harder will make it harder to pull apart. Quote

Hmmm.... Will standard snap setting tools a person already has work with these, or will they require the pricey tools listed with them? Members DieselTech Posted May 12, 2024 Members Report Posted May 12, 2024 Another fastner you might look into. Is the LOXX fasteners. Idk if you can use something like them. But they sure are nice. Quote

I've struggled with Hobby Lobby level snaps and wondered about better snaps.
