Brooks125 Report post Posted May 30 It's been a while. 2018 was the last I could find mention of the thread from a few years ago. If you are so inclined, post a picture of your shop, with: ONE photo and, ONE thing you Like, One thing you Don't Like about it. Like: It's small and everything is in reach. It narrows the search for tools ... sometimes. Don't like: It's small, and I'm running out of room, especially for Mold Guns
Northmount Report post Posted May 31 Small shops are all that many of us can afford. Nice to have everything at hand. For those posting to this thread, remember to reduce your file sizes to fit the size limitations here. 800 pixels in the longest dimension is adequate as most of your devices don't display in high resolution. Also take less time to download the photos for those on the fringes of the internet. Remember to post here, not on 3rd party hosting services. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing lots of shop photos.
Sheilajeanne Report post Posted May 31 Sooo...wonder how many other people on this board are going to be thinking of tidying up their shops now? Gotta make 'em look good for the camera!

Mulesaw Report post Posted June 1 Like: It is going to be organized and spacious, and cozy with a wood burning stove for heating. Don't like: Still not finished. Except for ridge tiles this is still the state of the shop.. (I have been too busy with all other kinds of project to make any progress here)
Sheilajeanne Report post Posted June 1 (edited) I really will have to clean up my shop, and post a photo at some point. I now have an area that's at least 10x the size of what I started with, which was this: About the only thing that's the same is the chair, the small black 2 drawer organizer on my bench, the 6 drawer organizer beside the chair, plus, of course, my tools. The closet I have for storing leather takes up nearly a full wall at the end of the room, with lots of additional storage space under my HUGE workbench. The workbench and the cupboards and drawers beneath it were at one time a kitchen counter which the previous owner of the house used in HER craftroom for working with fabrics. My neighbour across the road, who was friends with her told me she had FIVE sewing machines! None of which, of course, would have been usable for leatherwork... Things I like about my NEW shop - the space, the SPACE!! Things I DON'T like: it's in the basement, down 13 stairs, and there's NO WINDOWS! BlackDragon Report post Posted 10 hours ago My shop went from a small corner of a garage. To a 16'x44' Amish build shed. One thing I like: space!!! One thing I don't like: still want more space! (I think I have a problem )
