little black card holder

Recommended Posts

I've been feeling a little left out, so I whipped up a little black card holder.

I have been thinking this tri-fold idea out for a while, and decided to give it a shot.

This is the first of many to come. There are a couple of minor changes to be made, but overall, I think i like it.

Sorry no fancy schmancy graphics on this one. I wanted to keep it simple since it was experimental.

Let me know what ya'll think.

Kevin, you continue to amaze me! Even when you try to make something simple you can't pull it off. Instead it turns out elegant and artistic. Great job!!

:o Another masterpiece. If I like the "plain Jane" version this much, I can't wait to see what you do with a dressed up version!

very nice kevin - simple and clean - a nice custom snap and you got a $100+ piece there.

*ka-ching*

I really wish I could get the hang of the edge binding you pull off so expertly,

my experiments are NOT ready for prime time....ugh

gotta beg you to do edge binding primer for the lame&struggling one of these days - i'd even buy you a beer or 9

No kidding on the custom snaps. I wish i knew how to do lost wax casting, I've got some great ideas for snaps and grommets. I've been doing alot of searching for someone who can help me with the silver, but nothing yet. I'll keep trying till I do.What does "do edge binding primer" mean? Sorry, i'm missin that one.KK

Geez Kev, whatcha trying to do........make us all look bad??? Man, that looks so excellent. It just screams high quality and high end. Check into casting with pewter. They make it lead free nowadays. Plus they have some really cool high temp silicone to make reuseable molds out of. It would be similar to the rivet on buffalo nickels you used to see around.

Again, that is fantastic!!!!

Claudia and I have used this technique before. Your execution is excellent!

Quality is never an accident.

It's always the result of high intention,

sincere effort, intelligent direction and

skillful execution. It represents the wise choice

of many alternatives. john ruskin
