Members Ritsch222 Posted Monday at 03:37 PM Members Report Posted Monday at 03:37 PM (edited) Hello Guys, im looking for leather Needles for my Adler 220, 7x23 needle System, i found out that 328 Needles have very close specs (length, end to eye). Did any one try this, or is there adjustment on the machine necessary? Thanks! Edited Monday at 04:32 PM by Northmount fixed typo in the title Quote

This is where the machine guys hang out so you are more likely to find answers here. Quote

Members Constabulary Posted yesterday at 06:38 PM Members Report Posted yesterday at 06:38 PM 7x23 are slightly longer IIRC. Minor needle bar height adjustment could be necessary but they may work even w/o adjustment. Members Michiel Posted 21 hours ago Members Report Posted 21 hours ago I have an Adler 220 on which I use 328 needles. I have adjusted/redone the timing. Sometimes I measure the difference in length between the needle systems and adjust the needle bar using a caliper. Quote
Members Ritsch222 Posted 2 hours ago Author Members Report Posted 2 hours ago Is it enough to lower the needle bar 1mm or ist there more adjusment necessary if i do this? an thanks for the Answers! Quote
Members Constabulary Posted 2 hours ago Members Report Posted 2 hours ago basically that's it but I would check the needle hook timing too - that never can be wrong.
