David Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Putting all tin foil hat wearing, multiverse, interstellar aliens aside, the guy won the election, deserves the right to "give it a go" and see if he can get this economy rolling again. He will also deserve all the critical comments and partisan sniping when and if he fails. As far as my opinion or the "historic" events of yesterday? Yawn, wake me when something important happens. HorsehairBraider Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 I'm an American, I think everyone should be allowed their viewpoint and a chance to say it. My viewpoint is that the inauguration was really cool, I enjoyed watching all those people get together for a good purpose and to be happy, and I wish the new president all the best although he has taken on a very tough job. No doubt he will do something I don't agree with. But life is not about agreeing with what I think, so that's OK with me. He is starting out well and I have every hope it will continue that way. God bless the president of the United States of America. Quote
Members tonyc1 Posted January 22, 2009 Members Report Posted January 22, 2009 I liked some small parts of the parade that I saw. Tony. Quote
