This is a prototype seat that will go in a motorcycle shop to do some free advertising ( hopefully with some success ) for me. I went with the black to show that black could be done as well as a tan color. My husband recommended I do it this way and after all was said and done, I'm happy with how it turned out. Let me know what you think.

 that Geisha is just right for "rice burners" :red_bandana:

but you did do a great job on the carving.

Lets see a skull the next time.

'Have a Japanese riding buddy that would lovvvve that on his ying & yang themed bobber. Not ever gonna discuss this seat with him or he'll be looking to have one done LOL

Nice work

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm aware that riders aren't going to be looking for geishas on their seats. It's really just a 3D ad that will sit in this guys shop allowing them to see what I can do. I would rather do skulls and the like. They are much easier to draw for me. I also wanted someone to physically pick it up, touch it and look at it and let their imagination run wild a bit. I guess let them realize that it can be anything they want ( if that makes sense ). But thanks again for the comments

Just because its not the most popular doesnt mean it wont sell. With as many different customs and such out there today everyone is looking for something a little different. When they see something that stands out or may fit a theme as McJeep was saying they will buy it.

Also dont forget about all the women that are riding nowadays, alot more then in past years (which is nice because then you can ride solo and still play around lol) they have different taste for there accesories then us burly men do.

Great job.

Thanks MadMax for that insight. Just this weekend I was thinking of how the female segment of the biker population seems almost virtually untapped. I think it's going to be an uphill walk (both ways) trying to get into what is predominantly a "boys club" but I'm looking into seeing if I could touch base with the female riders out there. Just like you said, we LOVE to accessorize our stuff.

For just starting tooling, I think you're doing great. I really like the looks of this. Why make another seat that looks just like all the rest? If you have to carve a skull on it, is there anything wrong with adding a floral element? I'd really like to encourage you to do your own thing. And I really hope there is a group of bikers out there that will appreciate what you do and seek out something different.

Thanks for the vote of confidence ClayB. You're right. They all shouldn't look alike. I just have to find the people that will appreciate what I can do. Thanks again!

I missed this the first time around and thought it was so good it needed another showing!

The black background really works well with the tooling. Is the Geisha your own design, Tinyl?

Very good looking seat!

Love the tan and black combo and a braided edge allways lifts the design in a special way!!

Yes UKRay. She's from scratch. Thanks for the compliment. By the by, thanks for making me a "friend". I never had one before! :Newsicon::banana:
