your work keeps getting better and more sophisticated. Well Done!!!!!

Had you done some really simple things it would look even better to my eye.

groove the stitch lines

burnish the edges more

stitch the tongue rather than the rivet

otherwise it is a great job!!!!

pete

I take it back- I couldn't really see the picture well at first.

You did all the things that I couldn't see at first!

nice work

Great carving only next time plan your holsters" pass through" and carve around that area..I wish my Oak leaves looked half as good as yours! What kind of Iron goes in that outfit? I always like to photo with the piece in it.I would love to see you do those leaves,I just gotta learn how to do that! Thanks for sharing.

Josh that is very purdy! (Is that word okay to use regarding man-wear?) Very nice job!

Just hope my first gun belt looks half as good!

Josh,

I've already shared some thoughts with you via PMs, and I'll only add two things here:

1. (just my opinion) I think the cartridge loops would look better if they were centered on the belt instead of riding at the top.

2. That is one hell of a nice looking rig.

and I know I said two, but here's number 3. I'm inspired by that so much that I think I'll make one too.

I'll start a vote right here and now for Jbird as "most improved" leatherworker for this year.

I have taken in to my notes your input and will put it to my work, as always thanks and don't give up on me.

Josh,

That rig looks great. The carving is very nice. I like the contrast between the leaves and the background. Must have beveled deep to get the leaves to stand out like they do. The one thing I did not see is the tie down to go around your leg and something to go over the hammer to hold the gun in on those wild ATV rides.

Keep up the great work. My vote will go to you for "Most Improved".

By the way, now that I sent you that piece of leather, I have an order where I could have used some of it. I did keep some so I will see if it works. That is the way it goes, hold something for a long time and not use it but the minute you don't have it you need it.

God Bless,

Joe
