Members $$hobby Posted April 23, 2009 Members Report Posted April 23, 2009 those kits are fun for starting and learning alot too. if you did the carving, it looks real nice. if youre going to make holster from scratch, there are some DVDs and books out there that will give you some good pointers. Members Holster Posted May 24, 2009 Members Report Posted May 24, 2009 Looks great! This is why I am just starting leather work. I made one of the Tandy knife sheath kits today, and my dream project is to make an "old west" rig for my Colt SAA. Question, do you think the holster in this kit can be made for a lefty? I wouldn't mind trying out the kit before doing one completely from scratch. Thanks. Quote
ArtS Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 Looks good. Very clean and nice tooling. What did you coat the inside of the belt with? Art Quote Art Schwab "You cannot teach a man anything. You can only help him discover it within himself." – Galileo Galilei
