Scary Leatherworks Report post Posted June 15, 2009 Well it's taken me awhile to finish this one, since I had to move back to Maine from NM. This Bag has been a real pain in the A@{:content:}nbsp; It's dyed with light brown and dark brown and finished with leather balm. I still need to attach the clasp. I wanted it to look real Frankenstein/leatherface like so the lacing is uneven. Let me know what you think Scott
Spider Report post Posted June 15, 2009 How cool is that. It has quite a waxy look to it huh? This is surely gonna turn some heads. I love it
MADMAX22 Report post Posted June 15, 2009 That is way cool. Great job and looks like it took some good molding efforts.

Hilly Report post Posted June 15, 2009 That's very.....................interesting, in a macabre kinda way! What kind of closure did you put on it? Is it a man bag, or a purse, or??? Oh jeez, I get the heebie-jeebies just looking at that thing!
Big Papa Leather Report post Posted June 15, 2009 Very cool looking bag/purse. Would make a great loot bag for Halloween as well!
Scary Leatherworks Report post Posted June 16, 2009 Thanks for all the positive feedback. The pics do make it appear waxy but it is not that shiny. I still have some finishing touches to do. slight antique in a few places and finish the strap it's going to be adjustable for a long shoulder strap or a short handle. It is for my sister who is in to skulls and day of the dead stuff like I am. Scott
DreadPirateRedbeard Report post Posted June 17, 2009 WOW!!! That is one of the coolest things I have EVER seen. Did you just mold it around a ceramic skull or some similar skull?

Scary Leatherworks Report post Posted June 26, 2009 OK here it is finished. pics make it look more red than it is. Dyed with med and dark brown and antiqued with tan then finished with leather balm. the antique helped take away that waxy look.
