Did you do the stamping before the wet forming or while the leather was still wet after it was formed?

I think that will last about 10x as long as your cell phone.

I tooled as it came back to dry after I had formed it and stitched it together. then put a piece of wood in the pocket and cut and stamped the face. I tooled the flap on flat on the bench then stitched it together. I lined it so the snap would not rub on the phone. Hope that helps.
