Just out of curiosity, where do you guys get the metal part to make seats? The seat frame I guess it would be called. Are they made from steel or aluminum or maybe fiberglass? Joel, The seat pan in this case is commercially available. This seat is going on a Sucker Punch motorcycle in New York and the brand of seat that Sucker Punch uses is West Eagle. Shirley Hey Shirley, This was one of ..... maybe the first tattoo style seat that I ever did. It showed well at the IFoLG show in Columbus and now a customer in New York wants one for his new Sucker Punch bike. Glad to hear that you are getting out the tools again.... getting back into seats or going another direction this time? Hang in there things are bound to get better. I notice in the updated pictures that you altered the scales on the dragon's back when you cut them from what you had when you traced/drew them. Any insights as to why? Was it due to a scaling (no pun intended) issue or simply a layout change or...? Just curious...always educational to hear why folks do certain things.
