Put this together for a friend of mine that now lives in Texas. My hand stitching skills are a little lacking, haven't had to sew a toe plug in for about 5 years. Just thought you all would want to have a look.

I found the dice about 20 years ago in a pawn shop. Just couldn't pass them up $5.00 U.S.

I am brand new to working with leather so I don't know much. Excuse me if this sounds dumb bu how did you sew up the bottom of the holster like that?

The holster appears to be one of Will Ghormley's patterns, the Cheyenne....Will gives pretty clear instructions on how to sew "the plug" in his pattern package.....it takes some practice, good luck!

The trick is to push the needle through the leather at a 45 deg angle and to use a stitching groove so the thread can lay the right way on the leather. Its a pretty cool thing that is easier than it looks. You just have to pay attention to where the needle goes.

I'll join the chorus of "good job".

Quite honestly, . . . you are a credit to the craft. Keep it up.

May God bless,

Dwight
