Members TimberWolf Posted August 12, 2008 Members Report Posted August 12, 2008 Here is a pair of bags I recently made. My saddle is black, but I wanted a little contrast in color. Essentially, just a basic "quickie" set of trail riding bags w/ basket stamped overlays. Thanks for taking a look! Tim Quote
Members rustyriggin Posted August 12, 2008 Members Report Posted August 12, 2008 Thats nice work for a "quickie" job. It should really set the saddle off. Quote
Members TimberWolf Posted August 12, 2008 Author Members Report Posted August 12, 2008 Thanks Rusty.... I think I had about 3+ hours in this set of bags. Tim Quote

Members TimberWolf Posted August 13, 2008 Author Members Report Posted August 13, 2008 abn: Thanks for the kind words. rolf: Thanks, ...I use a Artisan 3000 for most of the bag, but use a Juki 241 for the overlay pieces. Quote

Members twofour878 Posted November 4, 2008 Members Report Posted November 4, 2008 I love seeing people's "quick" jobs. It gives me something to aspire to. Very nice. I love saddle bags and would love to try making some once I get some experience. I'm a fan of the clean look, and the overlays are just enough decoration. Quote
Members TimberWolf Posted November 4, 2008 Author Members Report Posted November 4, 2008 Thanks for the comments, everyone! Mathew- the black leather is 6oz., and the basket stamped pieces are 7-8 veg. Tim Quote
