Trail Saddlebags

Here is a pair of bags I recently made. My saddle is black, but I wanted a little contrast in color. Essentially, just a basic "quickie" set of trail riding bags w/ basket stamped overlays. Thanks for taking a look!

wow, very nice saddle bag! which sewing machine did you use?

rolf: Thanks, ...I use a Artisan 3000 for most of the bag, but use a Juki 241 for the overlay pieces.

I love seeing people's "quick" jobs. It gives me something to aspire to.

Very nice. I love saddle bags and would love to try making some once I get some experience. I'm a fan of the clean look, and the overlays are just enough decoration.

Mathew- the black leather is 6oz., and the basket stamped pieces are 7-8 veg.
