contact Ken Nelson on here.......he always has a machine or 2........and he checks them out and in good working order before he sells them

I bought my Toro 3000 from him

Hoping to reverse the order in that one of these days!!

medium weight cylinder machines like a Pfaff 335 or Consew 227 (or clones) will only use up to size 138/210 thread.

If you want to use a larger thread size you'll need to look at a 441 clone.

You can also use a Singer 132K with #350 thread and #26 needle.

Happy new year!

I recommend that you talk to Cobra Steve. It may take him a while but he'll find you a good machine... just be certain of exactly what you want/need.

A teacher pointed at me with a ruler and said "At the end of this ruler is an idiot." I got detention when I asked "Which end?"

Try Sam on this board. His post is titled 97-10 He has a Singer 97-10 which is a cylinder arm with a good range. He is in Tennessee.

Some of the older Chandlers were rebadged Adlers(105-64)most parts are still available, then there's the newer ones model #305(made in Japan) that are still needle feed like the Adlers & take a few different parts than the Adler& most parts are still available for it too.Either one will sew to around 3/8" or so.
