Members LeatherLegion Posted May 8, 2013 Members Report Posted May 8, 2013 The wallet is made out of 5oz and measures 6in/4in when closed. Air brushed using Tandy's spray cans, stitched on the outside with the Cowboy CB 4500 with #207 thread...the inside is stitched with #138. I am still waiting for the chain connector( that's the whole in the wallet for..lol...) The skull is laser engraved. This is one of the wallets i tried to take my time and don't cut any corners...kinda pull all the stops ...lol... Critiques are more then welcome...i know i made few mistakes but i want to see how visible are to others too.. Thank you Quote
Members jayjay Posted May 8, 2013 Members Report Posted May 8, 2013 (edited) looks great the only thing I see is that the zipper opens from bottom of wallet to top. I install my zippers the other way. Color and construction look awesome to me. Edited May 8, 2013 by jayjay Quote

Members Beewoman Posted May 8, 2013 Members Report Posted May 8, 2013 I really like the engraved skull!!! Colouring is great too ....very nice Quote
Members OdinUK Posted May 12, 2013 Members Report Posted May 12, 2013 I like the colours. It looks well made too. How come you opted for laser engraving the skill and not air brushing through a setnsil? Did it go black as a result of the laser engraving? Was it expensive? Quote
Members LeatherLegion Posted May 13, 2013 Author Members Report Posted May 13, 2013 The engraving is around 1/2mm deep...i can actually fill that in with gold or silver acrylic. On this particular wallet i had to use black edgekote to make it realy dark. One of my friends has the laser machine and for now we are just experimenting with it at different settings just to see the results... Quote
Members LeatherLegion Posted May 14, 2013 Author Members Report Posted May 14, 2013 Here is another one that closes with a tab...everything else as far as design goes is similar to the one pictured above Quote
Members David8386 Posted May 14, 2013 Members Report Posted May 14, 2013 I like this one with the strap better I think. Both are good looking. Good work on them. David Quote

Cheers Mat That's the way I buy that leather. I used lining fabric for the card holders...I was gonna use pig skin but the wallet would get way too bulky really nice- do you sell your patterns? I do sell kits ( panels already cut)for some of the wallets I make...just look me up on Etsy..I have few of them up there for sale. Thanks ! Quote
