Members jayjay Posted August 29, 2013 Members Report Posted August 29, 2013 So I have been on a Japanese kick lately. 4/5 oz Herman Oak leather. Comments always welcome!!! Quote
LNLeather Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 I have always enjoyed your work, and this is great too! The colors are fantastic! If you don't mind, what do you use? Is that Angelus? Beautiful work! Quote
Members Jazznow Posted August 29, 2013 Members Report Posted August 29, 2013 Fantastic job especially on coloring. Quote
Members MTH Posted August 29, 2013 Members Report Posted August 29, 2013 Great job! Japanese dragons are some of my favorite types of artwork. If you don't mind me asking, is some of that airbrushed? Or is that all regular brush blending? Also I'm curious how you sealed it since presumably it's going to get some considerable wear and tear from denim. Thanks! Quote
Members jayjay Posted August 29, 2013 Author Members Report Posted August 29, 2013 Thanks all I use Fiebings dye and I dilute heavily with denatured alcohol. I use an airbrush and build up color one shade at a time. then I use RTC resist and then antique it. I finished seal with RTC or sometimes Saddle Lac. Quote
