Members Double U Leather Posted September 6, 2013 Members Report Posted September 6, 2013 Here's the latest order out the door. This is actually the second attempt at this one. The first one wound up in the scrap pile after the paint brush slipped outta my fingers and landed dead center where it wasn't supposed to....AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH. Anyway, I think it turned out pretty nice. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking, and stay blessed. Quote
Members DoubleC Posted September 6, 2013 Members Report Posted September 6, 2013 Double U, I can't see any extra paint and think it's great. Cheryl Quote

Members benlilly1 Posted September 6, 2013 Members Report Posted September 6, 2013 Ohhhhh, you could have finished it up and sent it to me!! I would have taken it with the mistake! Your finished one looks awesome! Quote
Members tonymcvay Posted September 6, 2013 Members Report Posted September 6, 2013 Lot of work to throw it in a pile for a paint brush slip. Excellent work Quote
electrathon Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Looks nice. Take the messed up one out of the scrap pile, dye it all dark brown, antique it with silver. It will look nice and you save the work. Quote
Members Lavendara Posted September 6, 2013 Members Report Posted September 6, 2013 Amazing work! A very fine checkbook cover! Quote
Members zoomer56 Posted September 6, 2013 Members Report Posted September 6, 2013 I like the contrast. Quote
Members Double U Leather Posted September 7, 2013 Author Members Report Posted September 7, 2013 Wow....thanks for all the nice words. They are most definitely appreciated. Electra...I may have to try that, although I look at my "oops's" as learning tools. Anyway, thanks again for the compliments gang. Stay blessed. Quote
Members WinterBear Posted September 7, 2013 Members Report Posted September 7, 2013 Yes! Learning tools! Sell them to people like me, who want to use them as study aids? It's so much easier to figure out beveling and where to use shaders and camo tools if one has an actual carved piece instead of a picture. I'd buy it in a heartbeat just to look at it when I try my hand at florals. Quote
