Members Ran Posted December 15, 2013 Members Report Posted December 15, 2013 I haven't posted any holsters lately, so I thought I'd put up a couple of recent builds Quote
Members benlilly1 Posted December 15, 2013 Members Report Posted December 15, 2013 Wow! I noticed you hadn't posted for a while. I hope that means you've been real busy! Quote
Members camano ridge Posted December 15, 2013 Members Report Posted December 15, 2013 They look great, especially like the two tone ones. Quote https://www.facebook.com/CamanoRidgeCustomLeather?fref=ts
Members Ran Posted December 15, 2013 Author Members Report Posted December 15, 2013 Thank you! I've been about as busy as this retired guy wants to be..... I visit so many sites that I sometimes forget to stop by on this one. This is the only leatherworking site that I frequent, but I like to hang out on some of the pistol forums. Quote
Members Jeff L Posted December 16, 2013 Members Report Posted December 16, 2013 Very nice Ran. Snow on the wood pile already I see. Quote
Members supercub Posted December 16, 2013 Members Report Posted December 16, 2013 Every time I see one of your new holsters, I get depressed. They are so well done that I look at my own latest project attempts with disappointment. Your design is clean and the execution is almost perfect. I do my "snapcakes" styles a little differently, but I sure like the style of yours. Good job! How do you layout and dye the front side of the straps on the two tone holsters? Any chance you could post a photo of the holster back? Quote
Members Dwight Posted December 16, 2013 Members Report Posted December 16, 2013 As always, . . . excellent work, . . . excellent execution. But from one who has "visited" your lovely state many times, . . . that weather you have could make someone truly want to develop an indoor hobby. Thanks for posting, . . . always a joy to see them. May God bless, Dwight Quote If you can breathe, . . . thank God. If you can read, . . . thank a teacher. If you are reading this in English, . . . thank a veteran. www.dwightsgunleather.com

Your holster are elegant and beautiful. One nice think about the 1911 is that it lends itself to a more elegant holster. Keep on hanging out on those pistol forums. I think we all hang out on the pistol forums and the leatherworker forum. Quote
