The bad part Cecil is that it looks so good people will always be asking you to pull it out to see it and then 'oh, by the way since you have it out you might as well pick up the tab'. LOL

It must have been a petience trying thing to make the filligree and (I assume) polish the small inside edges.

I like it. What did you use to line the inside with? The part that shows through. And what type of knife did you use to cut it out? Good job my friend.

I used a very thin calf skin dyed dark brown. To do the cut outs I stated with an old scalpel, but found it to dull. I got an exacto knife from ACE hardware with the hobby craft blade. This worked great. This was the first filigree I have dine so it took me a while to get the hang of it. I suggest anyone that is doing this for the first time practice on a blank piece of leather first. I didn't and there is a place where the blade slipped.
