The customer wanted green snowflakes. The color matches the guitar pretty closely, but it was difficult to do from a picture.

Not gittin' the green snowflake thing, but that stitchin' is looking purdy! Then the inlay around the guitar seems to tie it in a bit, so maybe the customer really does know SOMEtimes :)

That's really nice. How do you get such a great and deep looking stitch groove. You thread is literally hiding in there>

Jeff, the guitar has snowflakes on the freeboard and green abalone purling. Who am I to say no? BDAZ, I charged $250.00 for this strap. Bluesman, I used a Marlin stitch groover to make the groove. It cuts a nice channel :P

I looked up Marlin stitch groover and din't come up with anything. I just ordered the Versa Groover from Douglas. That channel is the best.

Bluesman, I have the Douglas groover too. Its a great tool. I like the Marlin for long straight runs and the Douglas for curvy stuff.

Could someone post a pic of the Marlin groover?

Was that a single pass on the strap?

Thanks!

Wow I am not sure which I like more, the groover or the strap. Both are beautiful
