Members bdpeters Posted January 9, 2015 Members Report Posted January 9, 2015 you all have very nice looking shops, right now mine is a book shelf with a fold out table on one side of a walk in closet. I usually have to drag out all my stuff to the kitchen table. now if I could get all of my wifes projects out of the garage I could have some space. Quote

Members LLWork Posted January 29, 2015 Members Report Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) I probably have the worst workspace in the history of leather work. The owner of the last house I was renting decided to sell it at the drop of a hat, so I ended up packing my entire life into this tiny room in the basement of a friends house while my next spot gets figured out. I can't even open the door to my room all the way, as it hits my desk. My bed is four feet in the air, so I could store my belongings underneath. It's been difficult to deal with. I've got two more months of this to put up with. Edited January 29, 2015 by LLWork Quote
Members Black Dogg Posted February 6, 2015 Members Report Posted February 6, 2015 Wow, LLWork, you got me beat ! I thought I had the smallest shop. Where I used to live I had to move my bed to get any work done! I know whay you mean about having to move at a moments notice; happened to me last year. Right now my shop is in boxes awaiting set-up in my Cabin once I get the finish floor done. No room in my new apt. for a set-up. Counting days..... Members eglideride Posted February 21, 2015 Members Report Posted February 21, 2015 I just added a cutting table. 2X6 and 2x4 construction with 1/2" x 3" long oak dowels pinning the joints. 3/4" plywood top with hardboard top. I added heavy duty locking wheels on each corner so can I move the table out of the way. time to work some leather! Quote
