electrathon Report post Posted January 8, 2015 Basic wallet made from elephant I was happy to get from a forum member in Africa. Inside is pig with an interior pattern I like to use. Two tone Kangeroo laced. Aaron

electrathon Report post Posted January 8, 2015 Thanks guys. For the color I used brown Fiebings. I had a friend comment that he thought that elephant would be gray, not brown. I get a lot of positive comments on the two tone lace. I like it a lot better than basic double loop. Chan was the first person to teach it to me. I am grateful to him for all he has taught me. electrathon Report post Posted January 9, 2015 Love it! Any chance of you sharing how the two tone lace was achieved? The pattern is in this book. Almost identical to double loop, but you use the two laces instead of just the one.
MonicaJacobson Report post Posted January 9, 2015 Nice! And the two-tone lacing really brings out how close the lace work is.
electrathon Report post Posted January 9, 2015 Nice! And the two-tone lacing really brings out how close the lace work is.Personally I hate the spider leg look from narrow lace and holes punched too far apart. 1/8 inch lace, 3/32 inch slits punched 1/8 inch from the edge works well. The double lace fills in the spaces even better. A lot of the time even if I am only using one color I will still use two laces.
