Members MonicaJacobson Posted January 16, 2015 Members Report Posted January 16, 2015 Nice, I especially like the octopus wallet. Fun! Quote
Members Wraith Posted January 16, 2015 Author Members Report Posted January 16, 2015 Thank you. The octopus was for my nephew. I told him to find a picture of what he wanted on the wallet and that is what he found. that was also my first project with out a kit. Lesson one keep fingers away from straight edge when cutting with a utility knife. They are very sharp and get deep into the flesh before you realize it even went in. Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted January 16, 2015 Members Report Posted January 16, 2015 Great job! Yeah.... the utility knife thing is a hard lesson. It visited me a few months back. Now I line everything up, start to cut, stop cutting and check to see my fingers are all out of the way, then finish the cut. Quote

Members Calait Posted January 20, 2015 Members Report Posted January 20, 2015 Really nice, how long have you been doing leather work? Quote
Members Eccho Posted January 20, 2015 Members Report Posted January 20, 2015 The finish on your bags looks great. Nice job. Quote
Members Wraith Posted January 20, 2015 Author Members Report Posted January 20, 2015 I did my first leather projects with my uncle in 1985 while visiting him. The good ole Tandy basic kit. I didn't do anymore until 4 years ago. Since then I have done maybe tripple the number of items posted here. Thank you for all the compliments. Brian Quote
