Members MonicaJacobson Posted February 16, 2015 Members Report Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Finished the dopp kit over the weekend. Fun project, a lot more relaxing than the wallet. forgot specs: Horween Dublin 5-6 oz, and Horween horse croc print. Members veedub3 Posted February 16, 2015 Members Report Posted February 16, 2015 Very Nice Monica! I have three pieces of that Horween Croc print on my shelf now. Still haven't decided what i will make from it. Great job! Karina Quote "The only man who makes no mistake, is the man who does nothing." Theodore Roosevelt
Members Charliewz Posted February 16, 2015 Members Report Posted February 16, 2015 Very nice Monica. You do nice clean work. Wish I could emulate you. Charlie Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted February 16, 2015 Members Report Posted February 16, 2015 Thanks, you guys! Karina, I have the same problem. I was going to make a bag out of the black Dublin with a croc flap like the dopp kit, but I was running low on the dublin, so opted for the kit. I was also thinking it'd be fun to pair with brown for a tote...Charlie, I think you'll be agreeably surprised if you try this pattern. The hardest part are the straps that go through, and you can use a different way to close it. Quote http://monicajacobson.com/ https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrimGoTrix?ref=si_shop
Members Wild Bill46 Posted February 16, 2015 Members Report Posted February 16, 2015 Great work Monica The croc print is a really nice looking touch. Is it a wrap as is ? or are you planning to maybe use Sam Brown buttons on end of straps ? Its still nicely done ! ------ Wild Bill46 Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted February 16, 2015 Members Report Posted February 16, 2015 It seems to stay very solidly shut as it is... I am tempted to add a d-ring with a wrist loop on the side, though. Quote http://monicajacobson.com/ https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrimGoTrix?ref=si_shop
