Members opus56 Posted March 12, 2015 Author Members Report Posted March 12, 2015 many thanks to tboyce (for all your pattern work) & opus56 (very nice and simple design - very cool!!!) Thanks everyone...it's my pleasure. tboyce did all the hard work! Here are a couple of shots of a small 6" x 4" x 1" bag I did as a proof of concept. No adjustable strap nor did I sew on the front flap....it was just all cut as one piece. If people are interested in this smaller bag, I'll get template info to tboyce and he could whip up another pattern for everyone. Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted March 12, 2015 Members Report Posted March 12, 2015 Cool small bag, as well. Aren't you ridiculously thorough. Quote http://monicajacobson.com/ https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrimGoTrix?ref=si_shop
Members WinterBear Posted March 12, 2015 Members Report Posted March 12, 2015 With a few adjustments, that small bag would be just the thing for a Boy Scout to haul his Scout book in.....Heck, it would be good for me to haul my Scout Book and my OA book in. Or my Kindle. Quote I used to be an Eagle, a good ol' Eagle too...
Members tboyce Posted March 13, 2015 Members Report Posted March 13, 2015 LOL I wonder how many of us got our start in this craft because we couldn't bear to use Naugahyde faux leather for our OA costumes. Quote
Members TaurusSeats Posted March 13, 2015 Members Report Posted March 13, 2015 So simple but very elegant! Great job! Love it! Quote www.tauruscustoms.com tauruscustomleather.etsy.com www.facebook.com/tauruscustomleather

Members opus56 Posted March 13, 2015 Author Members Report Posted March 13, 2015 Hey TBoyce, here's the template for the smaller bag. Some dimensions: Front flap = 6" x 4 1/4" Main body = 8" x 9" Overall length = 13 1/4" Strap is 1/2" wide - everyone can make it whatever length they want First slot measuring from the bottom of the bag starts at 3/8", then spaced 1" apart Quote
