Members Wrumble Posted June 18, 2015 Members Report Posted June 18, 2015 I've been wanting to add a standard 4 pocket bifold wallet to my repertoire for a while now but haven't had the chance until this week a friend requested one for her hubs as an anniversary present. Really excited with how this one turned out, I've been working hard on cleaning up my edges and stitches lately. Let me know what you think! Quote
Members Bruce H Posted June 18, 2015 Members Report Posted June 18, 2015 Nice and clean looking! Good job! What weight of leather did you use? Quote
Members Wrumble Posted June 18, 2015 Author Members Report Posted June 18, 2015 Thanks! I believe its 4-5oz. I'm currently using some "scraps" (if you can call 1-2 sqft pieces scraps) I buy from another leatherworker who buys his English Bridle sides from Wickett and Craig to keep my costs down. I have an order of bellies coming from W&C in 3oz to try to slim this and my other Field Notes cover wallets down a bit, so we'll see how that goes. Quote

Members Wild Bill46 Posted June 19, 2015 Members Report Posted June 19, 2015 Exceptional indeed ! I'm impressed with top edges of the pockets, and your seemingly clean stitching. although a bit thick for my taste. Nice work though ---Wild Bill46 Quote

Hi, have you got those bellies? did you requested WC to split them down? Just wondering, because want to order bellies splitted down for desired thicknesses (3/4,2/3) PM me please Quote
