Members corkscrew Posted November 18, 2015 Members Report Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) This is a matching reproduction holster I made for a friend to go with an old one his grandfather had. Two of the tools I couldn't find, so I used a solid modeling CAD program and designed my own and had them 3D printed. They are the curled ? mark and wave around the lip. The 1851 revolver is what they are made to fit. The one on the left is the repo and the one on the right is the original. Thanks for looking, CorkscrewTom Edited November 18, 2015 by corkscrew Quote CorkscrewTom

Members LederRudi Posted November 19, 2015 Members Report Posted November 19, 2015 I like them too! You've put in a lot of effort! The original dates from the early 20th century I suppose? Quote "If you work for a living, why do you kill yourself working?" Tuco Ramírez
Members corkscrew Posted November 19, 2015 Author Members Report Posted November 19, 2015 Thanks guys. I don't know when it was made, but it was in pretty good shape. I just cleaned it and re-oiled it with Neats-foot. I also found matching Mexican coin conchos on e-bay. Neat project, glad it came out so good and customer was happy with it. Quote CorkscrewTom
Members stu925 Posted November 20, 2015 Members Report Posted November 20, 2015 I'm sure the original maker of that holster would be very flattered by your reproduction. Your stamps are definitely crisper but other than that I'd say spot on recreation, nice work. Stu Quote
