Passport Wallet with ID Theft Protection

Recommended Posts

Passport Wallet made from Hermann Oak (c) 4/5 oz leather, glazed pigskin pockets (5 credit card/ID slots and two currency storage areas) and a faille cloth liner.  Since Passports have RFID chips embedded in the back cover and the information can be stolen this wallet has a RFID Shield embedded between the outer leather and the liner, this prevents ID theft.

The shielding is available at Tandy and it's pretty reasonable. The last time I checked on it, it was like then wire mesh, this is like a sheet of paper, doesn't add any stiffness.

I'm sure it's available from other sources as well.  I would google it and see.
Not sure how Tandy overseas works but you should be able to order from the website and get it shipped to you.

sadly Tandy ships everything from there store here in Sydney the people are great but you can not trust tandy to have everything it says it does on the website which is damned annoying to say the least! Though I do love their leather have fallen hard for their montana hide!

Try aluminum foil tape, used for sealing joints in HVAC work.  About 1.5" wide, self adhesive.  Should be able to bury it between layers, easy to stitch through if needed.
