I actually figured out a really good process for transferring printed images. I print the image at work (Not inkjet but the toner kind of printer). Then tape it to the leather and use a cloth dampened with Xylene (available at home depot). Then I dab the image with it a few times letting it dry in between. I also rub with a spoon and even cover with a scrap piece of leather and cobble hammer the image in. With practice it looks like it was printed on there!
