Members Stewart Posted May 20, 2017 Members Report Posted May 20, 2017 We accrued a Peacock, India Blue,. He was with a group of 12 that are now free range. Somehow his leg/ toes were injured and stayed when the others left. So it inspired me to do a coaster of him. Quote

Members Sofaspud Posted May 20, 2017 Members Report Posted May 20, 2017 That's too pretty to put a sweaty glass on. You need a coaster for that coaster. Quote
Members TSes Posted May 20, 2017 Members Report Posted May 20, 2017 Looks great. I'll bet your next project won't have so much backgrounding to do. Quote

Members Stewart Posted May 21, 2017 Author Members Report Posted May 21, 2017 Thank you all, I guess Coaster is the wrong term to use. I display these on miniature easels. For one reason or another, Leather products are a hard sell around here. The 4 inch rounds provide an inexpensive way to try different themes and I became additive to them. 4 x6 inch cutouts also make good displays also. Quote

Members JMcC Posted May 31, 2017 Members Report Posted May 31, 2017 That is a beautiful coaster Stewart. I just have one question...how did you get that nice border on the leather? I haven't seen a border like that before and would like to know how to do that! Thanks! James Quote

Used a wing divider to size the width and length that set the spacing. 14 hours ago, alpha2 said: I'm thinking Mulefoot stamp? Right on. First stike sets the angle of rest. Quote
