I thought the interior fabric brought a nice look, I did have to iron a fusible interfacing to it to make it stiff enough to not just collapse but that was easy and I'm pleased with the results.

Had nevee thought about using a fusible interfacing going to  have to file that away for future reference

Yup.  I don't really do patterns per se just work out dimensions etc.  I just like this style so I thought I'd use it.  moving forward I'll move to a 5 panel construction though for ease of sewing and optimal leather use.

It worked beautifully to stiffen the lining just enough to stop it from collapsing when the bag is open and empty.  Definitely something I"ll use more going forward.
