Members Windrider30 Posted July 4, 2017 Members Report Posted July 4, 2017 I have a LOT of scrap and was a bit bored today so made this little thing, its made to be wrapped around a take a way cup of coffee and laced in place. Just thought I would mess around with some of the stamps that I have and scrap to keep myself entertained a little. Quote

Members YinTx Posted July 5, 2017 Members Report Posted July 5, 2017 How about an action shot with the end product in it's native environment instead? I like the grommet idea, I was planning to make a few to get the feel for some of my stamping tools, but worried about getting them to fit various sized cans/cups/mugs/etc. YinTx Quote YinTx https://www.instagram.com/lanasia_2017/ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK6HvLWuZTzjt3MbR0Yhcj_WIQIvchezo
Members motocouture Posted July 6, 2017 Members Report Posted July 6, 2017 And if you take a photo we won't hear the swearing i like the grommets, too. Maybe if you used elastic cord as the lacing, it would fit different sizes? Was thinking about making myself one for all the starbukkers I drink.... Quote
Members Windrider30 Posted July 6, 2017 Author Members Report Posted July 6, 2017 Elastic cording I was thinking about as well but for now thinking of leather lace, and the wife pointed out that it can double as a small wrist cuff lol, but I am thinking of getting a few of those plastic string locks, you can push the lock down, slide it up the lace and lock it in place Quote
Members Windrider30 Posted July 11, 2017 Author Members Report Posted July 11, 2017 Ok a couple of quick "action shots" this works pretty good though going to have to get some sliding locks will make it SOO much easier and faster to put this on!! Just used a bit of roo lace scrap that I had to lace it onto the cup, just slide the cup into the holder and pulled tight and laced it go ta few nice compliments on it. But the best part...my hand was not cooked holding this as I walked home! Saddly the hot chocolate did not last all the way home, some fat bastard drank it all!! Quote
Members Wedgetail Posted July 11, 2017 Members Report Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) Nice! I like it with the thonging, good job on the tooling too. Coffee sleeves are a bit of a favorite of mine. They can be super personalised for gifts, or branding. @YinTx make them for a medium size. They will usually fit everything bigger and most smaller. Unless you're like me and only ever buy BIG coffees =p Edited July 11, 2017 by Wedgetail Quote

Members Sanch Posted July 11, 2017 Members Report Posted July 11, 2017 Ok had to chime in save the empty disposable cup. Cut out the bottom, make 2 vertical cuts 1/2" apart all the way from top to bottom and viola!! Instant pattern!! Quote
