Members andrewsejlv Posted July 30, 2017 Members Report Posted July 30, 2017 Knocked out this prototype sunglasses case tonight. Needs some slight size adjustments, and I think the final variant will require some type of liner (felt, suede maybe?), but overall I'm really happy with how it came out. A cold one seems to taste even better after a productive day at the workbench... If you guys have any suggestions on the design overall, or suggestions for a good liner, I'd love to hear it! Quote

All we can do is try to stylize it a little differently to stand out from the crowd. 39 minutes ago, Retswerb said: Very cool design. Looks modern and clean, I love it! Thanks! Quote
Members Sofaspud Posted August 5, 2017 Members Report Posted August 5, 2017 Looks great. Just to float an idea for the liner- how about a micro-fiber cloth? They are soft enough to be used as lens cleaning cloths, so should be good for protecting expensive lenses from scratches. Quote
Members TheCyberwolfe Posted August 6, 2017 Members Report Posted August 6, 2017 I'm with Sofaspud - I made a pocket case for my computering glasses and used a spare lens cloth as the liner to prevent scratches. Quote
Members nrk Posted August 9, 2017 Members Report Posted August 9, 2017 cool suede will do the lining job Quote
