I am torn between 2 machines

Typical tw3-341 max stitch 10mm 72 mm cylinder lg vertical hook needle bar stroke 33.3 and link thread takeup

Typical gc2603 max stitch 6mm 50mm cylinder horizontal hook needle bar stroke 37 slide takeup lever

Which would be most versatile for small/medium leather goods (wallet bags not luggage) and give the best performance overall?

How come my post takes so long to get approved by moderator ? I have started a leather bracelet company and I am looking for a leatherworker to make 1/2 inch think high end leather bracelets.... we want high quality (stingrey, ostrich, alligator, etc ).. we are hoping to develop a long standing relationship with someone who can provide the volume we need and grow with us ( 15 pieces each leather type in month 1 and scale from there) thank you!

Because there are only two roving forum moderators on call and we both have day jobs and things to do in the evening. One of us will see a notification icon when we log in.

I didn't even know that this section of the forum requires moderation.

In case you don't hear it often enough, we users appreciate the thankless task that you moderators perform.

You have hijacked the OP's thread, completely off their topic.  That is bad form or etiquette  on any forum.  You could have started a new thread yourself or sent a PM to a moderator.  You posted your help wanted thread at 3:48PM.  It was approved by a moderator at 6:07PM, less than 3 hours later.  Since no moderator is sitting waiting for you to post, what do you expect?  We have our own jobs, not affiliated with LW and just volunteer here as moderators.  We like to support our group and to see and learn what others are doing.  You should apologize to the OP.

I've hidden your similar post in another thread, since it destroys the continuity of that thread as well.

Hi @Wizcrafts , could you comment on the GMarie's (the OP) question.  Should have been under sewing machines and it would have been noticed sooner.  Then it got hijacked by Colemckeon!  He was whining about his post in help wanted.

I think to give a correct answer to this you would need to post some pictures of the type of products you want to make more specifically. For the majority of the products you mention I use a 40m 69 thread but if your into heaver threads then you may want the bigger machine. The smaller cylinder allows me to more easily get into tight gussets and such where the big machine would have no hope. If you check my web site you should see that on many of my wallet they are stitched all the way around. Many here use larger threads and the products are thicker often as well in which case you could be better with the larger machine.I have attached one of our training wallet pics to show what I mean. The best in the end is often both machines along with a stack of others. Most of the products we make would use the smaller machine. Regards Brian

Sorry hijacking the thread, I didn't realize how to PM a moderator. It looked like my thread was not active as it kept saying waiting for moderator to approve so after 4 days I posted on here I am sorry for that
