plinkercases Report post Posted October 16, 2017 Seems when I can find minutes here and there in the day as I pass the work shop I usually make something I need! I had this S&W for my carry around the farm and finally got to case it so it can go on the belt and not in the pocket... and I guess some of my leather stock has been hanging around to long and I need to oil it before using it and did not on this so it didn't mould smoothly/easily and if it wasn't black I bet it wouldn't have taken the dye evenly either... live and learn. RockyAussie Report post Posted October 16, 2017 Looks Ok to me @plinkercases and I reckon that will be a a lot better on your pocket wear and tear as well. Brian
alpha2 Report post Posted October 16, 2017 Great job, looks like some serious retention, too!
brmax Report post Posted October 16, 2017 That is going to work well. I agree also the retention you made looks great, a big plus in that regard in my opinion. Nice touch on the designs. Good day Floyd

plinkercases Report post Posted October 16, 2017 Thanks folks and for sure on saving pocket wear and tear.. I just mended a few pairs of my office work paints that got worn out by my city EDC. I am now prototyping a pocket sheath/organizer than is working well and ready fro the next generation based on trying it out for a month or so. I have tried carrying the knives in the pocket using the clips but then the rest of the pocket is out of reach unless I want to chew up the back of my hand. alpha2 Report post Posted October 16, 2017 Let me pass on an unintended consequence... If you don't ALWAYS carry in the sheath...you will put it in your pocket when you have the sheath on...and when you next go to your sheath, freak out when your favorite knife isn't there! Ask me how I know. I've done it often enough now that I only gasp for a second, before realizing I put it in my pocket, again.
RockyAussie Report post Posted October 16, 2017 At least you can remember to take the knife in the first place.
alpha2 Report post Posted October 16, 2017 So far...age and decrepancy is looming.
plinkercases Report post Posted October 17, 2017 I'm more likely to have the sheath on the belt with one pair of paints and the knife in the pocket of another and am lucky to even remember to wear pants at all... Now... what were we talking about?
