Can you take a close up of the leaves where you used that petal lifter? I am curious if the shape of your lifter made a difference on the end result... YinTx Sure thing. This is the first time I've used a petal lifter so any advice or critique is appreciated. Thanks! -Ryan 3 hours ago, Sheilajeanne said: Very very nice! What does the inside look like? Thank you! Here is the inside. I try to keep the inside simple and plain so the focus is on the cover but any advice is much appreciated. -Ryan . 22 minutes ago, Fire88 said: Well done Thanks! Quote
Members KingsCountyLeather Posted December 23, 2017 Members Report Posted December 23, 2017 Looking at the pattern from that side view looks great. Is the floral design your own or from a book? Quote
Members YinTx Posted December 23, 2017 Members Report Posted December 23, 2017 I'm no expert, but I'd say you nailed it with the petal lifter! YinTx Quote YinTx https://www.instagram.com/lanasia_2017/ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLK6HvLWuZTzjt3MbR0Yhcj_WIQIvchezo

They were for different things but I thought they matched pretty well so I used them together. I also altered them in a few places like the leaf looping around the border and extending a few leafs over the border. -Ryan 6 hours ago, YinTx said: I'm no expert, but I'd say you nailed it with the petal lifter! bikermutt07 Posted December 24, 2017 Report Posted December 24, 2017 You sir, have talent. Great job. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
